Comments: 'New PCT's!' (New Look!) yet again another opportunity for the government to change for the sake of changing!  There needs to be a period of consolidation - yes change can be good but not at the expense of clinical expertise and quality for patient care.  Professionals are asked for their opinions, but once given they are never acted upon or given any credance.  The only thing that seems to be constant in the NHS nowadays is low morale.  Please let the NHS be run by the people who know best, these are the people who work day in and day out to make life good for the patients who come into their care.  Despite all odds, restrictions to service, cash strapped - all NHS professionals endevour to do the best they can with the few resources available.  We will be back to coat hangers soon for tracheotomies!
